RYA/MCA Commercial Yachtmaster Course
Bow Waves RYA/MCA Commercial Yachtmaster course starts on the 30th January taking you from a basic novice to Commercial Yachtmaster during the 16 weeks of intensive training. The training which is the first in Ireland to focus on both sail and power driven craft will allow you to be more employable and to secure better positions both here are abroad. At present we have jobs on our jobs list for Yachts in Greece and Spain and Offshore Supply Vessels in the north sea. There has never been a better time to train to go to sea. Bow Waves New Chief Instructor takes the helm
Barry Conlon has joined the Bow Waves team as Chief Instructor having just come back from Canada where he was working within the Cruising and yacht charter business in Vancouver. He has a vast knowledge of engine and yacht maintenance. Having started out Bray Sailing Club he is now a RYA-ISA Senior Sailing Instructor and a Powerboat, Navigation, Diesel and Radar Instructor. Barry has a natural, friendly and relaxed approach to instruction and dealing with people.
