Prior to joining a Powerboat Instructor Course candidates must demonstrate they have the powerboat handling skills and the supporting knowledge required to go on and teach the sport.
Course Type: Practical assessment
Required Experience:Crisp Level 2 Powerboat Skills to demonstrate time after time.
Assumed Knowledge: National Powerboat Scheme syllabus, navigation to day skipper standard.
Minimum Age: 16
Course Content: Level 2 powerboat skills.
Ability After Course: Be able to deliver training in the national powerboat training scheme to level 1 and level 2.
