Gain a powerboat qualification that is recognised worldwide. This is a three day course teaching you how to deliver powerboat training up to level 2 (National Powerboat Certificate).For candidates that already hold the Safety Boat qualification, successful completion of this course
also enables you to also teach the safety boat course. Skills gained are presentation skills, Instruction skills, assesment skills, communication skills and briefing/de-briefing skills.

Required Experience:Crisp Level 2 Powerboat Skills to demonstrate to students. Powerboat Instructor Skills Assessment, National Powerboat Certificate (Level 2) and First Aid certificate (including hypothermia and resuscitation).
Assumed Knowledge: National Powerboat Scheme syllabus, navigation to day skipper standard.
Minimum Age: 16
Course Content: Launching,Handling and recovery skills. Passage Planning and decision making.
Ability After Course: Self sufficient in good conditions. Aware of Limitations of self and Vessel.
