Keelboats are the perfect introduction to cruising! They are responsive and comfortable and its perfect for a student looking to skipper their own boat or take that first step in cruising training. As you master the basics you can enjoy the beauty of Galway Bay. The sailor doesn't have to be too agile because there is no capsizing - you don't get wet and have to pull yourself back into the boat. Keelboats are more responsive than yachts, so your learn the practical skills of sailing faster.
