ISA Dinghy Sailing Instructor

This course is aimed at people who wish to teach up to Improving Skills in the ISA Small Boat Sailing Scheme. It is held over 5 days, and is delivered by an ISA Instructor Trainer.

To become an Instructor, a candidate must have met all the pre-course requirements, and be knowledgeable, approachable and enthusiastic about their sport.

Candidate Pre-requisites

  1. Passed a pre-entry assessment
  2. Hold a SRC Marine Radio Liscence
  3. Hold a National Powerboat Certificate (level 2)
  4. Hold a valid First Aid Certificate
  5. Be over 17
  6. Be a member of the ISA

  • Assumed Knowledge: Knowledge to an advanced small boat sailing scheme level.
