Medical First Aid Course STCW’95

  • Course Type: Practical, some theory
  • Required Experience: Elementary First Aid within the last five years
  • Assumed Knowledge: Elementary First Aid
  • Course Content:Three day course designed to give Seafarers who are designated to provide Medical First Aid on board ship the required training. In practical terms this is an advanced First Aid Course for leisure and commercial sailors and motor boaters venturing offshore. It is also required on commercial vessels operating up to 150 NM from a safe haven. Ideal for Commercial Yachtmaster Offshore Skippers as the Elementary First Aid course only qualify you for up to 60NM from a Safe haven.
  • Ability After Course: On successful completion of the course, candidates will receive an Medical First Aid certificate and will have the skills to deal with advanced first aid emergencies.
