Bow Waves Sailing Camp

Bow Waves Sailing Camp is a fantastic way to learn to sail as well as practicing and improving skills gained previously. The program is tailored to meet each student’s particular needs while keeping the focus on fun, safety, and learning. Our experienced and professional instructors ensure that the activities throughout the week are challenging for all the students while setting an exciting tone for the program overall. By the end of the week, participants will have a basic understanding of boat handling techniques and background knowledge. The week normally contains an adventure day sail to an Island or a beach like salthill.

The students that already hold the Dinghy Sailing Level 1 will be able to progress to Level 2 according to their abilities and receive a Certificate of Competence. Those who already have their Level 2 Certificate will be able to improve their techniques whilst preparing for their Improving Skills Course (Level 3).
All boats, wet-suits and buoyancy aids will be provided.

These camps are based on student development, not curriculum driven. While the scheme is followed it is important for the student to have an enjoyable experience that is a rewarding challenge for their level. Certificates are awarded where nessesary.
